KOMTAR

KOMTAR also known as Kompleks Tun Abdul Razak was built between late 1970s and early 1990s. KOMTAR is the tallest building in Penang with 65 floors. It might not be an architectural marvel but its a prominent landmark that stand out like a beacon in the city centre.

There is a Viewing Gallery located on the 58th floor which allows visitors an exhilarating panoramic view of George Town.

Penang Bridge

Stretching over 13.5 kilometers, linking Penang Island to the peninsular. The Penang Bridge is the longest bridge in South East Asia. The Symmetrical fan-shaped center span that rises to a height of 225 meters makes the bridge unique. Opened in 1985, the bridge took five year to construct.
