Kapitan Keling Mosque

Built in 1801, this grand Indian-Muslim mosque was named after an Indian Muslim merchant Cauder Mydin Merican @ Kapitan Keling who was the headman of the Indian Muslim community.

This 19th century mosque features an ochre yellow facade and a dome-shaped minaret reflecting Moorish Islamic influence.
