Above is the venue for the "King of Tennis" Tournament to be held in Penang from 14-16 November 2008. Above structure with for over 5,000 fans was located at the Esplanade. Among the big names are former top players like Mats Wilander, Bjorn Borg, Stefan Edberg and Ilie Nastase representing Europe.Players representing United States are Pete Sampras, John McEnroe, Marcelo Rios and Roy Emerson. Tickets are priced between RM200 to RM1200.

The event has been cancelled as the Swedish-based producers decided not to send the players to Penang after the local organisers allegedly failed to pay the promised funds.
